How do you test your products?

We feel humans make better guinea pigs than actual guinea pigs, therefore we test our products on ourselves, friends, family, neighbors - basically, anyone who is willing to let us walk up to them and rub our stuff on them. Learn more about our products.

Do you use lye in your soaps?

Yes, all soaps are made with lye. The lye is only active during the soap-making process; It neutralizes as we complete the soap. Our soaps are very mild and will feel great on your skin, unlike synthetic store-bought soaps, which actually dry your skin rather than nourish it.

I have sensitivities/allergies to nuts, lanolin and/or fragrances, do you have any products that I can use?

Yes - in fact, many of our products were made specifically with your needs in mind. In the hypoallergenic section of our website, you'll find a complete line of products that contain no nut oils or fragrances. Lanolin is not used in any of our products since it comes from sheep's wool.

How can I see exactly what is in your products?

Click the "more info" link for the product you are interested in to navigate to a more detailed view of that product, which includes its ingredient list.

What is the shelf life of your products?

Because our products are all-natural, it's best to buy them in quantities that you plan to use in a timely manner. Different products have different shelf lives - lotion should be used within a year, but soap and lip balms will last much longer. Store products in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight to prolong their shelf life.

Do you have a refund policy?

Yes, if you don't enjoy your purchase, please contact us with the details (we love input) and we will allow you to return the product for a full refund within 30 days.
